Supports key programs and projects that affect the entire industry, such as the current Real American Hardwood promotional initiative and the IHLA’s mobile educational vehicle which will debut in 2020.

Provides monetary support to individuals interested in developing a career in the hardwood industry. Includes industry-specific schools such as NHLA Inspector training.

Promotes increasing public understanding of forestry issues, such as Project Learning Tree and the Natural Resources Teachers Institute.

Supports and offsets IHLA’s five-year, $125,000 pledge to support the Hardwood Tree Improvement and Regeneration Center through membership in the National Science Foundations’ Center for Advanced Forestry Systems.
